Alexa Hernandez is a ceramicist from Laredo, Texas. She received a BA in Communications and a Studio Art Minor from Texas A&M International University. Drawing inspiration from antique patchwork quilts and pictorial needlework art, Alexa makes functional ceramics that are colored with a constellation of mix-match and wonky patterns. Currently, Alexa is the Artistic Associate for Daphne Art Foundation working with all things relating to arts administration, gallery installations, and publication design.
